Exclusive. Technology driven, engineering service business targeting the transportation industry. Profitable & growing. #1 in North America and expanding globally. Long term customers and multi-year contracts. Company has a decentralized fleet of vehicles with state-of-the-art technology at customer sites and is building next generation of vehicles. Center stage role as part of executive leadership. Existing maintenance programs are functional and reactive. CEO wants to build a stronger maintenance program, reduce downtime, be more proactive, and improve customer satisfaction and profitability. Be empowered to make a difference . Oversee operations, maintenance, and compliance of vehicle fleet and maintenance Proactively identify opportunities to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure customer satisfaction Analyze fleet data and KPI management to optimize operations efficiency Ensure total compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Partner with safety managers to conduct accident investigations and routine safety inspections Develop and manage the departmental Profit & Loss budget and capital expenditures Manage vehicle acquisitions, leasing, licensing, and vehicle disposal/replacement programs Execute strategic vendor selection and negotiate with outside repair providers and parts suppliers Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate fleet mechanics, supervisors, and support staff Establish training initiatives (e.g., safety, equipment, repair techniques) to upskill workforce Partner on the planning and development of next generation of fleet vehicles Contribute on infrastructure build out for expansion in Europe and Latin America
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in engineering or automotive technology ideal; MBA a plus. Seek 8+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, including several years in a senior leadership role with demonstrated contributions. Strong knowledge of fleet management software, forecasting, and
DOT/OSHA
compliance laws. Proactive leader with executive potential. Hybrid or in-office.
REWARD :
$200,000 to $250,000 DOE plus bonus and long-term incentives valued at 6-7 figures.
