As a Portfolio Analytics Engineer - Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems that translate cutting-edge research into actionable investment strategies. What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degrees preferred 7+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in Java Proven proficiency in Python within production or research environments Extensive experience building and managing distributed systems Strong background in microservices architecture, including tools such as search engines, caching, messaging queues, and relational databases Solid understanding of engineering best practices-testing, code quality, documentation Hands-on experience tuning and optimizing high-performance systems Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools and performance metrics Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, manage complexity, and collaborate across teams An interest in financial markets is a plus Nice to
Have:
Experience working within financial services or investment domains Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines Over 7 years of progressively responsible software engineering roles Prior experience leading technical teams and managing large-scale projects
