YOU MUST HAVE
Qualified applicants must have a Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering degree, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related quality engineering role; (Master's degree desirable). Must have experience with Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies, Quality Management System (QMS), and solid data analytics experience. Understanding Fire and Safety Security Products desirable. Must Possess Excellent communication skills and proficient with MS Office Skills. Up to 10% international and domestic travel required. Must be able to work in the plant daily (not a remote role) Regulatory understanding, including
NFPA 72, UL 864, CSFM, FCC WE VALUE
Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) Experience with quality management systems and processes Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Passion for innovation and continuous learning Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements applicable to building automation products Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and mentor junior engineers

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and developed a team of quality engineers and inspectors, driving performance, engagement, and technical capability across manufacturing and quality functions Direct quality engineering strategy and execution for safety-critical fire and life-safety products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements Implement and maintain a compliant Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring adherence to industry standards such as ISO 9001 and applicable fire/safety regulations Oversee internal and external audits, successfully maintain regulatory compliance and improve audit readiness across operations Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, reducing defects, improving process capability, and increasing product reliability Lead cross-functional root cause analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve complex quality issues and prevent recurrence Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to improve product quality, manufacturability, and supplier performance Achieve key quality metrics (KPIs), leveraging data analysis to identify trends, mitigate risks, and drive data-driven decision-making Developed and standardized quality control processes, inspection methods, and documentation to enhance consistency and operational efficiency Manage quality-related resources, including staffing, budgets, and project timelines, ensuring effective execution of quality initiatives Support supplier quality activities through qualification, audits, and performance management, strengthening incoming quality and reducing defects Supported new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring robust quality planning, risk assessment (FMEA), and validation processes Improved customer satisfaction by reducing field failures, RMA analysis, addressing customer complaints, and strengthening feedback loops into design and manufacturing Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
