The Role:
Electrical Project Manager The successful Electrical Project Manager at D/E/F Services Group, Ltd is a proven leader with deep technical expertise and strong organizational skills. You'll oversee multiple projects—or multiple phases within complex commercial jobs—ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. You'll serve as the link between our field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders, leading with precision, professionalism, and pride. Local & National Retailer Discounts, recognition programs, and company events that celebrate your success Essential Traits for Success Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage several projects or phases simultaneously Strong understanding of electrical systems, the National Electric Code (NEC) and the overall construction process Effective communicator with field staff, supervisors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders Skilled in interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project documentation Able to coordinate detailed schedules, budgets, materials, and manpower efficiently Demonstrates sound judgment in managing Requests for Information (RFIs), Change Orders, and project documentation including work complete, work-in-process, and material costs. Prioritizes safety at all times and ensures compliance across project sites Contributes to team success through initiative, collaboration, and accountability Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and decisions
Qualifications & Skills Licensing :
Active Connecticut E1 or E2 Electrical Journeyperson License (required)
Experience :
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction Proven success managing crews of 20+ on projects exceeding $1M in value Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously (preferred)
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical education preferred
Certifications :
OSHA 10 (preferred), valid Driver's License required
Technical Skills :
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other project management tools Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and digital job management systems Strong mathematical and blueprint reading abilities
Personal Attributes :
Calm under pressure, team & process oriented, detail-focused, and open to constructive feedback
