Job Description

Our client - a growing and innovative manufacturer - is searching for a seasoned Engineering Manager or Senior Project Lead who thrives on technical leadership, customer partnership, and strategic project execution. This role is ideal for someone who loves driving progress from concept to completion while coaching a small, high-performing team. What You'll Do Serve as the primary technical liaison for key customers, ensuring seamless communication and problem resolution. Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 engineers, fostering professional growth, accountability, and innovation. Oversee complex engineering projects - from launch to delivery - ensuring all timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Partner cross-functionally with production, quality, and leadership teams to introduce new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives. Guide project managers and engineers with feedback, direction, and client-focused strategy that drives measurable results. What You Bring 7+ years in manufacturing or engineering environments, including at least 3 years in leadership or customer-facing roles. Come from an Injection Molding Manufacturing Background(7+ years) Proven success managing multiple projects at a high level, ideally within regulated or precision-based manufacturing. Strong communication, mentorship, and problem-solving abilities - you balance technical depth with people-focused leadership. BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Mechanical preferred). Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and design software (SolidWorks or similar) is highly valued.
