Vice President of Programs Washington, DC Pay From:
$175,000 per year
MUST:
Experienced Vice President of Programs 20+ years progressive experience in managing/leading IT and/or professional services program portfolios within FAA or aviation (airline network operations) Experience with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with responsibility for ground-to-air (G/A) requirements Experience running a portfolio of programs of at least $30M in annual revenue. Proven success in winning new contracts. Established, hands-on experience managing programs of significance with execution, operations and financial focus. Experienced with large scale, complex team management. Demonstrated experience building strong customer relationships within the Transportation community in highly challenging environments. Strong understanding of proposal development and evaluation process can translate into developing winning strategies and proposals for new business Track record of motivating and energizing the team while keeping pace in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Must have an active PMP certification Bachelor's degree in engineering, Math, Computer Science or business, advanced degree preferred.
DUTIES:
Lead the portfolio and set the strategic and operating plan for the FAA and Transportation programs. Lead a team of direct reports and the broader organization of direct and contracted staff and teammate subcontractors. Perform financial management with profit and loss responsibility for the portfolio, with the responsibility to meet or exceed financial targets. Provide customer and technical oversight of the portfolio, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and superior service delivery. Drive growth in collaboration to deliver a strong book-to-bill, re-compete wins, and new business growth. Manage and optimize an effective and efficient team focused on high quality delivery, financial performance, and client relationship development. Develop a short- and long-term growth strategy with related tactical execution plans that will drive top line and bottom-line growth for the team.
