Job Description

A private equity-backed, high-growth manufacturing organization is seeking a VP, Corporate Controller to lead and transform its accounting function during a period of significant expansion and integration. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for overseeing multi-site accounting operations, consolidations, and financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment. The position will play a critical role in driving process improvements, supporting ERP upgrades, and partnering with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead all corporate and field accounting operations across multiple sites and entities Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, and month-end close processes Manage and develop a large, multi-level accounting team (corporate + plant locations) Drive process standardization, efficiency improvements, and organizational transformation Support ERP system upgrades and future system initiatives Partner with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders on strategic initiatives Qualifications 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of large teams Strong background in manufacturing or product-based environments Deep knowledge of GAAP and multi-entity consolidations Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth organizations preferred ERP experience required (Oracle experience a plus) CPA strongly preferred; Big Four background a plus Why This Role Opportunity to lead transformation within a growing, PE-backed platform High-impact role with executive and investor exposure Ability to build, develop, and elevate a large accounting organization Strong compensation package with bonus Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
