Job Description

Land Development Engineer (P.E.)
Location:
Fort Lauderdale / Miami, FL We are partnering with a leading, multi-disciplinary engineering firm to support the growth of their Land Development team in South Florida . This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of private sector projects. The Role You will play a key role in the delivery of land development projects, working closely with clients, managing technical design, and supporting project execution from concept through completion. This position offers a mix of technical design, project management, and client interaction, with clear progression into senior leadership. Requirements 6-10 years of experience in land development engineering Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required or ability to obtain one in 12 months Strong technical background in site design, grading, drainage, and permitting Proficiency with AutoCAD / Civil 3D Ability to manage projects and timelines effectively Comfortable in a client-facing environment Experience in the private sector preferred Project Experience You will work across a diverse range of developments, including: Mixed-use projects Residential communities Healthcare and educational facilities Industrial developments Retail developments What's on Offer Competitive salary: $100,000•$135,000+ (DOE) Clear career progression into Senior and Associate-level roles Opportunity to take on client-facing / seller-doer responsibilities Long-term leadership and ownership opportunities Strong project pipeline across South Florida Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Project Executive Heavy Civil Construction
