With its first developments underway in Panama and a long-term vision to establish a leading hyperscale and neocloud-focused platform throughout LATAM, the business is assembling a world-class leadership team to drive its growth. As Vice President of Design, you will lead the design strategy, standards, and execution of a growing portfolio of mission-critical facilities, working alongside an experienced leadership team to create scalable, efficient, and customer-focused data center solutions. Work Alongside Industry Experts Collaborate with an experienced team spanning development, construction, operations, commercial, and investment functions, all focused on delivering a best-in-class digital infrastructure platform. Create the Next Generation of Data Centers Design facilities that meet the evolving requirements of hyperscale and neocloud customers, with a focus on scalability, resilience, sustainability, and operational excellence. What You'll Be Doing Lead the Design Function Establish and oversee the company's design strategy, standards, governance, and delivery processes across all developments. Develop Scalable Design Standards Create repeatable design frameworks that can be deployed across multiple markets as the platform expands throughout Latin America. Partner with Customers Work directly with hyperscalers, neocloud providers, consultants, utilities, and key stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are incorporated into design solutions. Drive Innovation and Efficiency Champion best practices in power, cooling, sustainability, energy efficiency, and operational resilience while balancing speed-to-market and commercial objectives. Build and Grow a High-Performing Team Develop the internal design capability and manage external consultants and specialist partners as the project portfolio expands. Support Development Through Delivery Work closely with development, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution from concept and design through to commissioning and handover. What We're Looking For Significant leadership experience within data center design, engineering, or technical development environments. Strong understanding of hyperscale and large-scale colocation data center requirements. Electrical engineering background preferred, although candidates from mechanical, civil, architectural, or multidisciplinary backgrounds will also be considered. Proven experience developing and implementing design standards across complex mission-critical infrastructure projects. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage customers, consultants, contractors, investors, and executive leadership teams. Experience working in fast-growing, entrepreneurial environments where adaptability and ownership are essential. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. Advanced qualifications are advantageous. Location & Travel The successful candidate will initially be based in Miami, working closely with the executive leadership team and supporting project activities in Panama. Regular travel across Panama and the wider LATAM region will be required, with relocation expected as the platform continues to scale.
