Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a key contributor to our operations team, the Chief Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining brand standards and regulatory compliance while driving high-quality performance across all maintenance functions.
Compensation:
$16 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
Create and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Evaluate building systems to determine necessary maintenance, repairs, or upgrades. Coordinate and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Act as the primary contact for brand partners, ensuring alignment with current standards and protocols. Assist in budget planning, including estimating costs for repairs and capital improvement projects.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Proven leadership and team management skills, including hiring, training, and performance oversight. At least 5 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance, including team leadership. Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking or work order systems. In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs. About Company Our property's vision is to have a positive impact.
