Job Description
A national Architecture and Planning firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architectural Project Manager to lead complex multifamily residential projects from concept through construction. This individual will play a key leadership role within the Tampa office, managing client relationships, guiding internal teams, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality projects. The ideal candidate brings deep multifamily expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities Leads and oversees multifamily architectural projects across all phases, from schematic design through construction administration Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction Provides strategic direction and leadership to project teams, including architects, designers, and consultants Manages project scope, schedules, and budgets while ensuring alignment with client goals and firm standards Reviews and approves design deliverables, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to design intent Ensures compliance with Florida building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements Coordinates effectively with contractors, engineers, and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Identifies and mitigates project risks, proactively resolving issues as they arise Contributes to business development efforts, including client presentations, proposals, and pursuit strategies Mentors and develops junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture 12+ years of architectural experience, with a significant focus on multifamily residential projects Licensed Architect required Demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex projects from design through construction Strong expertise in Florida building codes, construction methods, and permitting processes Advanced proficiency in Revit; experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools preferred Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment What the Firm Offers Competitive salary with performance-based incentives Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) Clear path to senior leadership opportunities Collaborative, design-focused culture with a strong emphasis on innovation Opportunity to lead impactful multifamily developments throughout Tampa and the Southeast Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Drainage Technical Lead
