As the Systems Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for both technical leadership and people development on a high impact program. You will guide the team through the systems engineering "V", ensure rigorous requirements development, and champion a culture of technical excellence. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing technical direction across the systems engineering "V" and ensuring delivery of high quality engineering artifacts
• Collaborate with government and customer representatives in support of critical space-based daily operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities
• Perform staffing and performance responsibilities; in coordination with HR and established processes
• Communicating technical status, risks, and recommendations to program and functional leadership Desired skills
• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)
• Familiarity with DoD program support
• Demonstrated Program/Project Management and/or leadership skills
• FBM Weapon Systems Programs
• Missile/Space Weapons Systems
• Customer interaction and familiarity with the DoD Flight Test Ranges/Facilities
• Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, principles and tools
• Broad experience of Systems Engineering life cycle process and tools
• Proposal preparation, BOEs
• Knowledge of program management, finance, contracts, Earned Value Management (EVM) and demonstrated business insight
• Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems and train others in their application
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering

National Pay Statement Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
