Project Manager - Mechanical

As an employee-owned company, every Project Manager plays a direct role in our success. We're looking for a hands-on, results-driven Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can lead projects from kickoff through closeout—especially within service, retrofit, and small project work. What You'll Do

• Project Execution & Management
• Manage multiple mechanical projects (HVAC, plumbing, piping) from estimate turnover to closeout
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and project profitability
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope Customer & Field Leadership
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
• Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and field teams
• Conduct job site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues Financial & Contract Management
• Track job costs, labor productivity, and material usage
• Manage change orders, billing, and collections
• Drive gross margin performance and financial accountability Planning & Coordination
• Work closely with estimating, service, and sales teams on project handoffs
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and procurement
• Utilize systems such as Procore for scheduling, documentation, and reporting What You Bring
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in mechanical contracting
• Strong mechanical contracting background in HVAC, plumbing, or piping systems
• Experience managing service, retrofit, or small projects (required)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong financial acumen (job costing, margin, forecasting)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills Education & Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (strongly preferred)
• PMP certification strongly preferred
• Equivalent field experience considered
