Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) Own daily execution of the quality strategy, driving measurable and sustained improvements Plan, coordinate, and execute all audits and certifications (ISO, PED, ASME, UL, CSA) Champion focused, data-driven problem-solving on key business and quality objectives Drive a consistently improving customer experience through quality excellence Build and develop a high-performing quality team through hiring, coaching, and development Communicate clear strategies, action plans, and performance results across the organization Contribute to broader business strategy and operational execution beyond your scope Apply reliability engineering principles, including modeling and preventative/predictive measures Utilize APQP processes (PFMEA, control plans, PPAP, supplier quality readiness) Leverage statistical and reliability tools (e.g., Minitab, Weibull, ReliaSoft, Crystal Ball) Bachelors degree (Engineering discipline preferred) AND 7+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing facility Demonstrates unwavering integrity and a steadfast commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to deeply understand the business, customers, and markets Ability to prioritize what matters most and maintain focus amid competing demands Data-driven mindset with the ability to influence decisions through facts and analysis Advanced interpersonal skills with a genuine, collaborative approach that fosters positive working relationships Exceptional problem-solving skills with a disciplined, process-oriented approach Continuous improvement mindset with a drive to raise standards and exceed expectations Ownership mentality with accountability for outcomes and business success Strong understanding and practical application of Lean principles (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred) Ability to teach and mentor others in problem-solving methodologies Deep knowledge of reliability engineering and risk management Solid technical aptitude to understand products and manufacturing processes Experience with quality standards (ISO 9001:2015 or similar such as
AS9100, IATF/TS16949, PED
) Certified Internal Auditor (preferred)
Work Environment:
Manufacturing setting with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing and walking; occasional sitting, communication, and lifting up to 25 lbs; requires standard visual abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth)
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday; extended hours and occasional weekends as needed
Travel:
