Job Description

Nuclear Plant Work Order Planner ENERCON $53.46 - $80.19 /Hr. United States, Georgia, Kennesaw 500 Townpark Lane (Show on map) May 27, 2026 Overview ENERCON is seeking a Nuclear Services Group Planner to perform work package planning for plant design modifications. This position will be focused on a Nuclear Power Plant in Palo, IA, though the role can primarily be performed remotely from within the US. This role will be part time working 30 hours or less per week on average. Responsibilities This role empowers you to lead critical design and planning initiatives that ensure the safe, efficient operation of nuclear facilities. By combining technical expertise with collaborative leadership, you'll drive innovation, mentor others, and make a lasting impact on the reliability and performance of essential energy systems.
Design & Work Order Development:
Develop work orders to perform design modifications to new and existing plant components
Work Planning & Process Improvement:
Utilize nuclear plant work planning experience to streamline work package planning process and help mentor planners to reduce errors
Coordination & Collaboration:
Coordinate and interface with site and ENERCON engineering disciplines. Develop professional relationships with client counterparts
Field Leadership & Issue Resolution:
Demonstrate field/plant leadership by providing identification and resolution to potential design modification issues. Resolve technical issues via site walkdowns, personal experience, and communication with client counterparts such as planners, Craft, Operations, etc.
Compliance & Safety:
Understand and follow organizational, area/departmental, and client procedures, safety policies, and directives
Performance Goals:
Meet applied time goals set for position/discipline #LI-MB1 Qualifications Minimum education requirement is an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 10+ years' of work package planning Experience planning in SAP desired Experience working in a Nuclear Power Plant environment Experience with mechanical or I&C work order planning preferred Ability to understand roles played by other disciplines on the project and ability to coordinate and interface with engineering disciplines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to periodically travel to plant to support walk-downs or attend work planning meetings Compensation Range USD $53.46 - USD $80.19 /Hr.
