Job Description

Project Manager - Electrical Systems (Onsite) Full Time | Competitive Compensation | ~20% Travel Role Overview The Project Manager is responsible for driving assigned projects from initiation through completion, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality execution, and alignment across engineering, operations, vendors, logistics, and service teams. This role manages multiple product lines, including medium‑voltage and low‑voltage electrical equipment, power transformers, controls, monitoring systems, and service coordination. You will work closely with senior leadership to remove roadblocks, manage competing priorities, and maintain strong communication with internal teams, external partners, and customer stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead cross‑functional project teams across engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics, and field services. Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from kickoff through closeout. Own financial, technical, scheduling, and quality performance for each assigned project. Execute project tasks and deliverables with urgency and accuracy. Maintain accountability with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of action items. Serve as the primary project representative in weekly coordination meetings with customer and jobsite teams. Provide consistent status updates on progress, risks, budget, and schedule. Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies. Maintain strong customer focus and manage expectations throughout the project. Analyze project deficiencies and timelines; collaborate with senior project leadership to adjust plans when needed. Communicate effectively with suppliers at all levels, from order management to executive leadership. Develop, maintain, and monitor project reporting. Support continuous improvement initiatives across processes and project execution. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education & Experience 5-7 years of progressive experience in project management or a related technical field. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience. Required Skills Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications. Strong understanding of electrical equipment concepts, practices, and procedures. Ability to diagnose project issues and contribute to effective solutions. Highly proactive, detail‑oriented, and solution‑driven. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization. Comfortable interacting directly with customers and vendors. Experience working with contractors and managing change orders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Onsite presence required. Travel Requirements Approximately 20% travel to manufacturing facilities, project sites, and corporate locations. Pay:
$125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
