The Job You Will Perform:
Responsible for performing basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned Understand the project delivery process and help define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals, mill safety, reliability, and improvement efforts Collaborate with more experienced engineers to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems Prepare or assist in preparing reports, graphs, planning layouts, and summaries designed to communicate project progress or results Successfully perform non-complex and routine assignments while developing engineering fundamentals Understand and execute work in a manner consistent with safety procedures and practices with some guidance Utilize basic communication tools such as memos, email, and verbal to update others on progress of assignments when prompted Develop relationships with teams and process areas as needed with each assignment Interact with other mill departments such as Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, etc. to achieve assignment objectives
