Full Job Description Description Unmatched Comp Time Policy:

As a Lead Professional Engineer for Water Resources, you will have the opportunity to be involved in large, multi-discipline projects while developing diverse skill sets. What are the core responsibilities for the role? Lead a project team consisting of engineers, designers, and field personnel involved in the design, modification, analysis, and constructability of water systems Coordinate and conduct meetings with project stakeholders Coordinate with office management and other project managers to share resources Assist in proposal preparation including oral presentations. Also prepare the scope, schedule, and budget for new projects Interface with clients including state and local agencies Work on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of engineering and construction-related issues Prepare, review, and/or approve proposals, contracts, or cost estimates Negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with sub-consultants, and clients Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget. Coordinate design activities to ensure installation and operations will comply with specifications, codes, and client requirements Prepare reports and studies that present technical information in a clear and concise manner and meet client requirements Perform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparation Take ownership of projects from start to finishQualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Degree Professional Engineering License 8+ years of experience in the water facilities engineering, design or construction fields Ability to manage engineering, design or construction projects Proficiency in Civil3D preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, 2D Modeling, and other applicable software Solid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to interact with clients and multi-discipline team members. Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices Possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Why would a candidate want this job?
