Job Description

We are partnered with an family based company recognized and established in the fire protection and life safety industry who is actively looking to add a proven Design Manager to their growing team! They have a great reputation and believe strongly in supporting the growth of their employees and are dedicated to maintaining an outstanding work culture.
NEW ROLE
Responsibilities:
  • This design manager will oversee and manage four designers, run weekly design meetings, dole out which designers do which jobs, help with setting the job scopes, assist and/or run any pre-design meetings on projects, help hand off jobs to the Installation Department, help improve efficiencies with design and job flows, and help oversee any new technologies/systems we are going to do design/project drawings for.
experience &
Requirements:
  • Nicet lvl 3 or higher, lvl 4 preferred (special hazard Nicet is a bonus)
  • experience in the fire alarm industry with experience in siemens alarm product
  • Willing to relocate, job is on site
  • Ability to be organized and lead a team of designers
