Job Description

Engineering Manager - Plant Operations & Maintenance, Norton Clark Hospital, 7a-3:30p Monday-Friday Norton Healthcare United States, Indiana, Jeffersonville 1220 Missouri Avenue (Show on map) Apr 27, 2026 Responsibilities The Manager, Engineering-Facility will organize and manage work requests and projects within a defined area of responsibility; providing customer coordination, project estimation, and scheduling work to accomplish completion, by both in-house and contractor personnel. Reporting of work order completion, P.M.'s and project status is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains a participative, teamwork-oriented environment including recognition programs to acknowledge abilities, development, and achievement of the entire staff, training programs to ensure a culture of learning and growth, and communication to ensure a continuous two-way flow of information. Develops, monitors and tracks the effectiveness of Customer Service to patients, visitors, and fellow employees. Establishes and maintains communication with all levels of Administration and employees. Provides direction, guidance, and overall management to ensure operational integrity, financial viability, physical safety, and institutional compliance of all Norton Healthcare facilities. Utilizes a variety of analytical techniques to solve problems and report progress. Drives company vehicles on or around Norton Healthcare's campus or other facilities as assigned and needed. •This role requires driving Norton Healthcare vehicles, which could include transporting patients and visitors. You must have a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record•
Qualifications Required:
Five years in facility equipment service and maintenance.
Driver's License Desired:
Bachelor Degree
