Project Engineering Manager:
Seeking a skilled Project Engineering Manager to oversee and execute complex technical projects in the food industry. This role involves leading a team of engineers to develop and implement innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently on challenging tasks while providing guidance when needed. Job Duties & Responsibilities of the
Project Engineering Manager :
Create engineering designs, material specifications, and project cost estimates. Conduct feasibility studies and economic analyses to support designs. Ensure designs meet required standards and codes, validate field work, and create as-built drawings. Review engineering submissions for accuracy and completeness. Manage project execution by directing vendors and contractors. Coordinate project schedules with various stakeholders and collaborate with management to implement plans. Partner with vendors and contractors to plan layouts and meet utility requirements. Review consultant work, make recommendations, and maintain project documentation. Conduct planning and reviews during pre-project phases. Define scope of work, prepare and evaluate proposals. Submit regular reports to management on project status. Manage contract administration and review bid packages. Prepare project documents and monitor installations to ensure compliance with specifications and budget. Education & Experience Requirements of the
Project Engineering Manager:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent combination required. 2+ years of leadership experience, including team development and management. Proven ability to apply engineering principles to operational and design challenges. Familiarity with project scheduling for installations and construction. Skills in Project Management, Contract Administration, and interpretation of national codes and standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD.
