Job Description
LVI Associates are partnered with a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering and consulting firm here in the Kansas Cit region to identify a Vice President to lead one of their core technical divisions (Water Wastewater). This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for people leadership, technical excellence, client delivery, and strategic growth within the division.
The Vice President will play a critical role in shaping the division's water wastewater direction, strengthening client relationships across the Midwest, and ensuring high-quality project execution while aligning with the firm's overall vision and values.
Leadership & People ManagementProvide strategic and day-to-day leadership to technical and project delivery teams within the divisionMentor, develop, and retain high-performing engineering and technical staffOversee resource planning and workload management to support project demands and staff utilizationTechnical & Project OversightUphold and strengthen the technical reputation and standards of the divisionOversee project execution, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to established quality standardsIdentify and manage technical and project-related risksClient & Business DevelopmentAct as a senior point of contact for key clients, supporting long-term relationships across Kansas/MissoriPromote division services internally and externally, contributing to ongoing business development effortsCollaborate with leadership across other divisions to deliver integrated solutionsOperations & StrategyLead divisional planning, budgeting, and cost managementDevelop and implement division-specific business practices, engineering procedures, and quality controlsMonitor division efficiency and continuously improve engineering and production processesSupport and execute the firm's broader strategic initiativesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related professional discipline (Geology, Surveying, Construction Management, or Project Management experience also considered)15+ years of experience in the design and construction industryProven experience leading technical teams or divisionsStrong understanding of current construction and engineering industry trendsExperience collaborating across multiple engineering disciplinesExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients, staff, and executive leadership If you are a seasoned W/WW engineer looking to progress into a leadership role and scale a team's growth across the water market here in the Kansas/Missouri region ten get in touch or apply!
