$120,000•$145,000 per year Job Details•We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Quality Manager to join our innovative Manufacturing team. This role is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the quality management system, from product inception to delivery, ensuring all processes meet or exceed industry standards. You will be responsible for managing Quality Control, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Product Quality, Supplier Quality, and Quality Auditing.Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system to improve product quality and minimize defects and waste. Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve key quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence. Utilize SPC, PPAP, APQP, and control plans to maintain quality standards and improve manufacturing processes. Oversee supplier quality, ensuring all suppliers and subcontractors meet the company's quality standards and expectations. Conduct regular quality audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality management system and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with various departments to establish procedures, standards, and systems that ensure product quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve quality. Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Quality Management role within the Manufacturing industry. Proven experience with Quality Control, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, CAPA, Product Quality, Supplier Quality, and Quality Auditing. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and statistical process control (SPC). Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on attention to detail. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software. Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQM, CQE) is preferred.
