Job Description

The Role We are seeking an experienced Civil Municipal Infrastructure Lead to take ownership of complex municipal projects and provide technical and people leadership within a growing civil engineering group. This role is suited to a senior engineer who enjoys combining hands-on technical oversight with mentoring and leading a medium-sized delivery team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions for public-sector and municipal clients, with a particular focus on water resources and water/wastewater systems. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction Provide technical oversight, quality control, and engineering direction across water resources and water/wastewater projects Manage and mentor a medium-sized team of engineers and designers, supporting professional growth and performance Act as a technical point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies Review designs, reports, specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with standards and best practices Support project scheduling, budgeting, and delivery in collaboration with project managers Contribute to business growth through proposal development, scope definition, and client relationship management Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) Professional Engineer (PE) license (active and in good standing) Strong background in water resources and water/wastewater infrastructure Demonstrated experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects Prior experience providing technical leadership or managing engineering teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Experience Experience working with municipal or public-sector clients Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulatory frameworks Ability to balance technical expertise and team leadership responsibilities Why Join?
