Job description: A leading consulting, engineering, and commissioning firm focused on highly technical buildings is seeking a senior, performance-driven leader to help grow and lead its Healthcare/Life Sciences practice in the Boston and Northeast region. This role offers the opportunity to drive business development, lead project execution, and play a key role in expanding an established market presence. This individual will work closely with regional and national leadership to pursue, win, and execute healthcare projects while helping shape team structure, strategy, and growth. The role reports to the Boston Managing Director with a dotted line to national practice leadership. Key Responsibilities Drive new business development and grow existing client relationships within the healthcare market Lead and support pursuit strategy, pipeline development, and project forecasting Oversee execution of healthcare/life sciences projects, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction Build and lead a regional team, including recruiting and mentoring senior staff Collaborate with internal leadership on staffing, project delivery, and operational strategy Serve as a client-facing leader, building relationships with architects, PM/CMs, and general contractors Resolve project, client, or internal issues as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) 10+ years of healthcare design experience within an MEP consulting or A/E environment 7+ years of leadership and team management experience Proven experience generating business and managing client relationships Strong knowledge of MEP systems PE license preferred Ability to operate in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
