Job Description Summary The Vice President of Quantitative Data Strategy and Optimization defines and leads the enterprise data strategy, development of data inter-relationships, behavioral data insights and economic impacts reporting directly to the Co-Chief Executive Officer. This function will empower the executive leaders with data insights and predictive indicators of the performance of their function. This role oversees quantitative research, advanced analytics, forecasting, and business intelligence to help the organization optimize demand and improve property level efficiency as well as financial results. The VP will partner with senior leadership across Operations, Finance and Accounting, Labor Management, Revenue Management, Digital, Marketing, and Loyalty to turn complex data into actionable strategies that drive long-term sustained value.
Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Develop the enterprise data strategy that supports demand forecasting, pricing optimization, digital personalization, guest segmentation, and property‑level operational insights. Lead teams across data science, quantitative research, analytics engineering, and business intelligence serving corporate functional areas as well as operations site level leadership. Build and maintain data architecture and governance frameworks that ensure accuracy, consistency, and real‑time accessibility across PMS, CRS, CRM, and distribution systems. Oversee the creation of predictive models related to human behavior, financial performance, workforce needs, maintenance forecasting, capital planning and repositioning as well as the evaluation of customer behaviors and trends. Enhance key hospitality functions - Revenue Management, Marketing, Digital, Operations, Loyalty - through advanced analytics and experimentation frameworks. Partner with brand and site level leadership functions to deliver insights that improve guest satisfaction, streamline staffing, reduce costs, and strengthen loyalty engagement. Lead measurement strategies for brand campaigns, channel performance, promotions, and distribution effectiveness. Evaluate and integrate third‑party data sources, travel industry datasets, and hospitality technology platforms. Foster a data‑driven metrics culture across the organization. Recruit, develop, and mentor high‑performing analytics talent with hospitality and quantitative expertise. Monitor industry trends in travel demand, consumer behavior, distribution technology, and AI/ML to maintain competitive advantage. Qualifications:
12+ years in quantitative analytics, data science, revenue management analytics, or related fields, with at least 5 years in senior leadership. Experience in hospitality, lodging, travel, or adjacent industries, multi-site operations preferred. Advanced degree in statistics, analytics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative field. Deep expertise in forecasting, optimization, statistical modeling, and experimentation applied to hospitality use cases. Strong understanding of PMS, CRS, CRM, loyalty platforms, distribution ecosystems, and revenue management systems. Proven ability to translate analytical insights into strategies that improve guest satisfaction, operating cost disciplines and commercial performance. Demonstrated success leading large cross‑functional teams and elevating enterprise data maturity. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders across technical and non‑technical domains. Additional Job Information/Anticipated Pay Range Pay range: $250,000 to $275,000. Base pay offer may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific/overall experience.
