Principal Application Engineer We're looking for a Principal Application Engineer to serve as a top?level technical expert and individual contributor, leading the most complex and high?impact engineering initiatives. This role operates with a high level of autonomy and plays a key part in driving engineering excellence, innovation, and scalable design solutions. As a trusted technical authority, this individual will influence engineering direction, establish best practices, and partner with leadership to strengthen long?term technical capability. This is a hands?on, senior?level role focused on solving challenging problems, guiding technical standards, and mentoring engineering talent. ???? What You'll Do Lead highly complex engineering and system integration projects with significant business impact Establish and improve CAD standards, engineering processes, and documentation practices Drive innovation in design efficiency, scalability, and quality Act as the technical escalation point for complex engineering, operational, and customer challenges Partner with leadership and cross?functional teams to support strategic initiatives and advanced solutions Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and engineering methodologies Lead problem?solving efforts in ambiguous, non?routine scenarios Mentor and develop engineers, supporting long?term talent growth and succession planning ???? What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field 8-10+ years of experience in application engineering, design, or manufacturing environments Proven success leading complex, cross?functional engineering initiatives Experience with fluid systems, instrumentation, or custom assemblies (preferred) ???? Key Skills Expert?level system design, integration, and fabrication knowledge Deep understanding of fluid systems and instrumentation Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Strategic mindset with strong business and operational awareness Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly Comfortable working in fast?paced, evolving environments If you enjoy owning complex technical challenges, driving engineering standards, and influencing how solutions are built at scale, this could be a great next step.
