Senior Project Manager (Federal Construction & Facility Engineering)
DESCRIPTION
AcqCentric is looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience in Federal Construction & Facilities Engineering to join our team! This role will provide day-to-day project management oversight for construction, renovation, maintenance, and facility improvement projects. This role requires strong construction management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. DUTIES Provide project management oversight for construction and facility-related projects. Coordinate with Government customers, stakeholders, contractors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle. Review project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution. Review design packages, construction documents, and contractor submittals for completeness and compliance. Assist with project planning, scope development, and project execution strategies. Identify and resolve construction-related issues encountered during project execution. Participate in site visits, project meetings, and construction coordination meetings. Support acquisition and contract administration activities throughout project development and execution. Assist with preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and contract modification documentation. Review and evaluate requests for information (RFIs), submittals, change requests, and related project documentation. Prepare technical analyses and recommendations related to project changes and construction activities. Maintain project documentation, schedules, action items, and status reports. Ensure projects are executed in accordance with applicable federal requirements, safety standards, and project objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience managing construction, facility engineering, renovation, or capital improvement projects. Experience supporting federal, state, or large institutional construction programs. Experience reviewing construction schedules, contractor submittals, and design documentation. Strong understanding of construction project lifecycle management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting federal agencies. Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar certification. Experience preparing cost estimates, scopes of work, and contract modification documentation. Experience supporting design-build and design-bid-build construction projects. Familiarity with quality assurance, construction inspections, and contractor performance monitoring.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal suitability determination and facility access credentials as required by the Government.
