Engineering Site Lead
Overview
ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group is seeking an Engineering Site Lead to join the team.
In this dynamic role, you will lead engineering projects, collaborate with technical teams to create detailed proposals, and manage all aspects of project execution, including schedules, risk management, and financial health. With your proven management skills, you'll oversee project schedules, financials and reporting while actively supporting marketing endeavors to propel business growth. You'll drive client satisfaction through effective communication, high-quality deliverables, and strong relationship-building while overseeing the work of engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
This position will be located onsite at Calvert Cliffs Clean Energy Center in Lusby, MD.

Client & Team Relations:
Demonstrate professionalism and dedication, providing exceptional service to both clients and teammates, while fostering positive relationships
Project Leadership:
Lead projects by collaborating with technical colleagues to develop detailed engineering proposals, managing schedules, and executing recovery plans when needed
Project Planning & Execution:
Develop comprehensive work plans, risk management strategies, communication plans, and work breakdown structures to ensure smooth project execution
Scheduling & Financial Management:
Oversee project schedules, apply advanced scheduling tools, and manage the financial health of projects, ensuring timely reporting and performance tracking
Team & Resource Management:
Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables, while supporting internal standards and resource management
Client & Business Development:
Maintain strong client relationships, manage project scope, and support marketing efforts, including proposal preparation and identifying new opportunities
Contract & Project Oversight:
Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts, ensuring successful project execution, while traveling to client facilities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR PMP Certification and generally has 8 years' applicable experience
Typically requires 6 years' experience in power generation, energy, utility or nuclear industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review
Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously
Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting
Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review
Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
Strong coordination and team building skills
Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility
Must be able to perform plant walkdowns
