Walsh Engineering & Associates is a Maine-based consulting engineering firm specializing in Civil Site Engineering, Environmental Permitting, Compliance, and Construction Management. We partner closely with our clients to deliver thoughtful, practical, and innovative solutions—and we're growing. We're currently looking for a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join our Westbrook team and play a key role in shaping projects from concept through construction. What You'll Do In this role, you'll be involved in a wide range of exciting projects and responsibilities, including: Collaborating with project managers on site assessments and feasibility studies Preparing design plans, specifications, and technical reports Developing site layouts, grading plans, utilities, and stormwater designs Supporting permitting efforts at the local and state level Presenting projects to planning boards and review committees Monitoring construction progress and performing site inspections Building strong relationships with clients, regulators, and team members Keeping projects on track with regular updates and communication What You Bring We're looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow: 2+ years of civil/site engineering experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (EIT or PE preferred) Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience with stormwater modeling (HydroCAD is a plus) Familiarity with site design, permitting, grading, drainage, and erosion control Knowledge of Maine DEP regulations and local permitting processes is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Join Walsh Engineering?
