Job Description

Field Action Engineer job description and responsibilities include but not limited to: The Quality Field Action Team Engineer provides a crucial role in leading the investigation of an open case request through the signature approval process and release to the field. The Field Action Team offers high visibility to Directors, Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents on a weekly basis. In addition, weekly cross functional engagements to Technical Safety and Regulatory Compliance (TSRC), Technical Service Operations (TSO), vehicle manufacturing, and release Engineering. Below is a list of key points for this position.

Lead the creation, approval, and release of Rapid Service Updates (RSU), Customer Satisfaction Notifications (CSN) and Warranty Extensions (WE) Field Actions.

Meet key process indicators (KPIs) for case open to Director signatures and fully approved to release to the field.

Lead cross-functional teams to obtain information required for Director financial approvals. Present field action cases for approvals on a weekly basis to Director of Customer Experience, and Director of Finance. Cases exceeding Director approval amounts will be presented to the Senior Vice President of Customer Experience weekly.

Display effective communication skills to support meetings at all levels of the company, including Senior leadership. Work independently on projects and push to timely completion to achieve KPIs.

Report out on case status to immediate and Senior management teams. Maintain a strong interface with Stellantis Vehicle Assembly Plants, Technical Safety and Regulatory Compliance, Release Engineering, Supplier Quality and Technical Service Operations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related technical field from an ABET-accredited university5+ years of professional experience in a related fieldStrong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex issues, drive to root cause, and recommend clear actionsDemonstrated ability to rally cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and align stakeholders across StellantisResults-oriented with a track record of delivering in the presence of obstacles and sensitive topicsSets high expectations for self and others and drives accountability to meet commitmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with management, engineering, internal and external stakeholders while building and maintaining positive relationshipsHigh energy; able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple prioritiesComfortable making timely decisions with incomplete information, escalating appropriately, and taking ownership of outcomesProficient in
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointPreferred Qualifications:
