Account Manager 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Midland, MI 48642 Full-time Windemuller Inc. 6 reviews Full-time We are seeking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Electrical Services team in Midland, MI. This role combines customer relationship management, sales, estimating, and project coordination to help drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Position Summary The Account Manager supports the execution of the sales plan by building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service. The role coordinates service work from estimating and scheduling through project completion, billing, and collections while ensuring customer needs are met and relationships are strengthened. Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend electrical service solutions
  • Prepare estimates, quotes, and proposals for service work and small projects
  • Coordinate projects from pricing through completion, billing, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with field operations, service technicians, purchasing, and accounting teams
  • Monitor job costing, budgets, and project profitability
  • Support business development efforts and identify new market opportunities
  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Attend customer meetings, sales meetings, trade shows, and networking events
  • Assist with sales goals and growth initiatives for the Electrical Services department Qualifications Required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in the electrical construction or service industry
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and the National Electrical Code
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
  • Master Electrical License or Engineering background preferred, but not required Preferred
  • Estimating and project coordination experience
  • Master Electrical License or Engineering background Skills & Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction, electrical systems, control circuits, and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Understanding of estimating, project coordination, and financial project management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend effective solutions
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams and support field personnel
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans
