In this role, you will report to the Customer Engineering Manager. What You Will DoWork alongside other Mechanical and Electrical Resident Engineers, Project Managers, as well as Hardware and Software engineering teamsTesting and Validation activities on Bench set ups for Harman Amplifiers and SpeakersSupport Program Managers with day-to-day program activities as neededUpdate and verify audio amplifier softwareAssist in Engineering problem solving activitiesAssist in preparation of customer documentationVisit customer sites to support vehicle system checks and reflash activitiesPerform quality checks of amplifiers and speakers prior to customer shipment What You Need to Be SuccessfulMust have taken courses in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringMust have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and external teamsMust work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skillsAnalytical and exhibiting excellent judgment skillsWell organized with the ability to prioritizeSelf-motivation and discipline Bonus Points if You HaveExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Interest or experience in the audio or automotive industryKnowledge or familiarity with electrical and mechanical products including speakers and amplifiersExperience working in university project teamsLeadership Experience What Makes You EligibleMust be currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's Degree program or higher at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship programMust have a cumulative 3.0 GPABe willing to work in an office in Novi, MichiganAble to provide your own housing and transportation to/from workBe willing to travel to customer site in Saline, MI as necessaryMust possess unrestricted work authorization.
