Full-Time, Direct Hire Position Overview:
This leadership role oversees the Engineering, Automation, and Maintenance departments to ensure all operations, projects, and personnel align with organizational goals and strategic priorities. The position requires a results-driven, hands-on leader who can coordinate technical teams, drive process improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to achieve company objectives.Key Traits:

Oversee all activities and personnel within Engineering, Automation, and Maintenance departments. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance. Organize daily priorities, workload distribution, and department objectives. Drive process development and ensure cross-training among team members. Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering, automation, and maintenance concerns from the production floor. Plan and manage all aspects of new program launches related to engineering and technical support. Monitor and manage labor utilization and department performance metrics. Collaborate closely with other managers, suppliers, and contractors to support operational goals. Develop detailed plans, procedures, and documentation to guide departmental activities.Required Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency in Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop multi-disciplinary teams. Effective problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Proven experience leading technical teams in a high-volume manufacturing or automotive environment.Physical Requirements:
Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in and around active production areas. May be exposed to variable temperatures, noise, and moving equipment. Requires multitasking and responsiveness to changing operational needs.Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment with potential exposure to dust, fumes, and fluctuating temperatures. Surfaces may be uneven or slippery due to production activity. Occasional outdoor work may be required. Appropriate safety protocols and protective equipment (PPE) must be followed at all times.Personal Protective Equipment:
