Job Description
A growing systems integrator is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead their US and Mexico mechanical engineering teams supporting projects across automotive programs. They need someone technical who understands weld applications, weld fixturing, and automotive automation projects from both an engineering and delivery perspective. You'll oversee a team of engineering leads and designers across the US and Mexico, support project execution, help resolve technical issues, manage workloads, and work closely with project management and customers to ensure projects are delivered successfully. What they're looking for: Strong background in weld automation and weld fixturing Automotive BIW automation experience Previous leadership or management experience Ability to lead engineering teams while supporting project delivery Experience across custom automation, tooling, or manufacturing systems Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment Nice to have: Exposure across General Assembly or Powertrain projects Experience supporting Mexico engineering teams Hands-on mechanical or project engineering background Role details: Managing engineering teams across the US and Mexico Roughly 5-10% travel On-site role in
