Job Description
Are you a senior electrical engineer? Do you have experience designing electrical circuits and partnering with controls? Do you have a passion for leadership? Wonderful! Doherty Career Solutions is partnering with a local Ashby, MN company as they search for an Electrical Team Lead to join the thriving and growing team! The Electrical Team Lead , leads process, automation, and utilities technology strategies. Owns specification standards, approved platforms, advanced process control, and technical coaching. This role will offer opportunity for growth a salary of $80,000-105,000 plus an extremely lucrative bonus.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Technology guardian for the company - Define process & controls standards, technology roadmaps and obsolescence plans Approve control narratives, P&IDs, FAT/SAT protocols, and validation Drive advanced controls (APC), historian design, and data models for optimization Subject matter expert in current best practices technologies and emerging technologies Drives and influences "Design for the Work Force" in technology selection, design, deployment, and implementation Manage multiple discipline technical or engineering projects with direct responsibility for budgeting, personnel, and project planning Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including vendors, in developing solutions to fit our needs and drive continuous improvement Oversee utilities and wastewater standards and permit support Provide root cause expertise for complex production losses, coach engineers Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel Process capability (Cp/Cpk) and yield improvement Automation downtime reduction; alarm rationalization effectiveness Successful FAT/SAT execution and standards adoption Energy/water intensity improvement Promote personal and company image throughout the communityRequirements:
B/S degree in Electrical engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 tools Experience with SCADA platforms, preferably Ignition Strong proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor) for referencing design data or supporting digital system integration Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Manufacturing or food industry experience preferred #NewCareerByDoherty #DohertyNewCareer Use your skills and experience to succeed with this great job opportunity!
