About the CompanyOur client is a well-established, nationally recognized consultancy operating across the building, construction, and engineering space. They support complex new-build and existing-asset projects through technical advisory, performance testing, commissioning, and quality assurance services. The firm is known for working on high-profile developments, investing in technical excellence, and maintaining a strong reputation for risk management and long-term asset performance.

About Your ManagerYou'll report into a seasoned leader within the building enclosure discipline who is hands-on, technically respected, and deeply invested in team development. This individual values collaboration, mentorship, and giving senior professionals the autonomy to shape projects, client relationships, and regional growth. Position OverviewThis is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced Building Enclosure Consultant to take ownership of complex projects while playing a key role in growing a local practice. The role blends technical delivery, client-facing leadership, and team development, with exposure to both new construction and existing building work. Travel is project-dependent and typically limited to a regional footprint. Role & ResponsibilitiesLead building enclosure consulting and commissioning engagements from proposal through closeoutOversee multidisciplinary project teams, providing technical direction and mentorshipDeliver enclosure services across design, construction, commissioning, and existing-building investigationsPrepare and review high-quality technical reports, design reviews, and client deliverablesSupport business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client relationship managementAssist with hiring, onboarding, and developing junior and mid-level staffContribute to financial performance and project profitabilityParticipate in industry groups, conferences, and technical initiatives where appropriate Qualifications10+ years of direct building enclosure consulting experience in lieu of a degreeProfessional licensure as a Registered Architect or Structural Engineer (or ability to obtain within one year)Strong technical understanding of façade, roofing, waterproofing, and enclosure systemsProven experience managing both small and large-scale projectsComfortable performing site work, inspections, and field investigationsExcellent communication, organization, and leadership skillsAbility to travel up to 25% as project demands requireValid driver's license and ability to access construction sites safely Preferred ExperienceExposure to a wide range of building types and enclosure systemsExperience with enclosure testing, investigations, and condition assessmentsFamiliarity with modeling tools such as WUFI, THERM, or similar platformsProficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM)Safety training or scaffold certification is a plus BenefitsTotal compensation of $115,000-140,000, dependent on experiencePerformance-based bonus eligibilityComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement plan with employer contributionGenerous PTO and paid sick timeTuition reimbursement and professional development supportLong-term growth opportunity within a stable, well-resourced organization
