Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION
Review contract specifications, quotes, proposals, and purchase orders to identify build requirements and ensure technical accuracy and appropriate pricing Develop build schedules for each project and monitor progress Produce Bill of Material, spec sheet, guide drawings, and instructional manuals per customer specifications Recommend efficient improvements to the customer whenever possible Coordinate project build activities including civil build, steel fabrication, and meetings Resolve product build issues with manufacturing Resolve project build and warranty issues with customers and respond to customer comments on drawings Review customer drawings and internal drawings to ensure they meet development requirements; identify corrections as needed Acquire customer approval of all documentation requiring approval Identify changes in project scope and initiate requests for change orders Identify and suggest improvements to the build process to facilitate a standard build (improve bill of materials structure, develop standard builds, etc.) Support Quality Control during customer inspection visits and assist with testing issues Technical coordination with component vendors to assure accurate component application
YOU HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, preferred 3+ years of experience in power distribution and transmission, or similar experience, preferred Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals and reports Ability to effectively address inquiries or complaints from internal and external customers Ability to effectively present information to management or other collaborators Able to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations, preferred Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
