We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join our growing team in St. Louis (Richmond Heights). You will be responsible for taking ownership of mechanical scopes from post-design through construction and startup. A DAY IN THE LIFE
Take ownership of mechanical scopes from post-design through construction and startup Review subcontractor bids and proposals to confirm scope completeness, identify gaps, and ensure alignment with project requirements Review mechanical submittals and shop drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract documents Track equipment procurement, submittals, and fabrication status to ensure timely delivery Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to resolve issues and prevent schedule impacts Visit project sites as needed to verify installations align with design intent, plans, and company quality standards Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders throughout the construction phase Coordinate with internal teams, field personnel, and project stakeholders keep projects moving efficiently Participate in project meetings and provide clear updates on status, risks, and next steps for mechanical scopes Support field quality control and assist with inspections to ensure proper installation Assist with preconstruction and estimating efforts as needed (not a primary responsibility) Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
3-5+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction, MEP, HVAC, piping, or related commercial/industrial project environments Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, construction processes, and equipment procurement Ability to review bids, submittals, and installation work Experience coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams in a fast-paced environment Highly responsive, communicative, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of project execution Proficiency with construction/project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project preferred Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Ability to travel to project sites nationwide as needed
