The Manufacturing Engineering Manager (O264) leads a team responsible for developing and implementing new and improved plant operations including production, maintenance, engineering support, safety, regulatory compliance, distribution, and warehousing. This role drives tooling and fixture strategy, prioritizes CI shop initiatives, and delivers end-to-end tooling projects aligned with business needs. The position coordinates tool design, fabrication, manufacturing processing, cost estimating, systems planning, layout, standards, and releasing. What you can look forward to in this role: Lead a manufacturing engineering organization supporting plant operations including manufacturing, maintenance, safety, compliance, distribution, and warehousing Develop and coach teams capable of achieving business objectives and supporting plant operating functions Design and fabricate tooling and fixturing to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost Lead tooling and fixture projects end to end, including scope, schedule, cost, supplier coordination, installation, and sustainment Coordinate tool design, assembly, manufacturing processing, cost estimating, systems planning, layout, standards, and releasing Prioritize Continuous Improvement (CI) shop projects in alignment with business needs and operational priorities Manage capital projects for CI shop and manufacturing process improvements, including approvals and execution Coordinate installation of new machines, equipment, and process changes to enable efficient and economical production Lead make/buy decisions for tooling and fixtures based on cost, capability, and capacity Lead Manufacturing Engineering Change Control (ME) and drive effective change management Own and govern Work Instructions, Process FMEA (PFMEA), and Safety FMEA (SFMEA) Oversee tool and fixture calibration management to ensure readiness and compliance Supervise, develop, and performance-manage both salaried and hourly staff A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:Lean Manufacturing:
Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.Problem Solving:
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Manufacturing Equipment:
Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them. Capacity Planning & Management -MFG:
Knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service. Top Candidates for this position may also have: Experience leading tooling, fixturing, or CI shop organizations in high-volume manufacturing Working knowledge of CAD and GD&T with the ability to review designs and prints Capital project management experience including budgeting and supplier management Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or demonstrated CI leadership with measurable results Strong cross-functional leadership across operations, quality, supply chain, safety, and maintenanceAdditional Information:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
