Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for leading and supporting architectural, fit-out, and construction-related projects across PSI's office portfolio, with primary focus on the USA and Canada regions. The position combines architectural planning, project management, contractor coordination, and real estate support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with company standards. This individual will serve as a key technical resource, supporting projects from concept development through execution while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external professionals globally.
ArchitectureCollect and organize technical data; prepare drawings, plans, and documentation for diverse global projects, with a primary focus on fit-out projects within existing buildingsDesign architectural and engineering plans and prepare specificationsSeek input from and collaborate with professionals across various fieldsMonitor the work of local engineers; provide guidance to general contractors or subcontractors during the construction phase; remotely supervise workers executing layout designsNetwork and consult with various industry professionalsMaintain and update job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional organizations, and industry publications; stay current with new technologies and industry developmentsAct as a technical reference within the team for construction methods, detailing, and buildabilitySupport projects involving new construction or broader building-level scope when requiredProject ManagementManage multiple projects simultaneouslyPrepare project schedules, budgets, and technical documentationOversee the bidding processEnsure all issues are addressed in a timely manner and that project requirements are metMaintain cost standards by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measuresEnsure effective team collaboration to achieve established goals and targetsDemonstrate willingness and ability to travel internationally to construction sitesSupport coordination with contractors and consultants, with a focus on technical alignment and buildabilityProjects will primarily focus on the USA and Canada regions, with potential support for global projects depending on team workload, as well as possible involvement in building-scale projects based on business needsPerform light administrative duties and support local office logistics to ensure smooth daily operations (estimated at 5-10% of the role)Real EstateInteract with various departments and industry professionalsPrepare documents, reports, presentations, and proposals for executive managementParticipate in the development and maintenance of company standards and requirementsQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or EngineeringMinimum of 5 years of experience as an architectExperience in fit-out projects is strongly preferred; experience in building-scale projects is an advantageStrong practical understanding of construction processes, ideally gained through hands-on experience (e.g., working with contractors or on-site exposure)Real estate experience is a plusWell-rounded professional with experience from concept development through project completion, including maintenance of existing buildingsExcellent design, technical drawing, and presentation skillsStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing, including maintenance of existing buildings, with the ability to advise othersKnowledge of building regulations, codes, norms, and standardsExcellent organizational, project management, and reporting skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong leadership and communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and networking abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsDeadline-driven and committed to excellenceExpertise in fire prevention, security, ESG, or related areas is welcomeProficiency in Revit (preferred)Proficiency in AutoCADWorking knowledge of MS Office applicationsProficiency in presentation and visual editing programs (PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite)Fluent in English with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills (Advanced/C1 level)Additional InformationIf you feel it is time to make your skills and knowledge visible within a growing company with true focus on its people, then PSI is the right choice for you.
