Job DescriptionPosition OverviewThis role leads the engineering and maintenance strategy for a 600,000 sq. ft. high-volume manufacturing facility, with direct impact on equipment reliability, process capability, operational efficiency, and cost performance.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Manager will own reliability performance and process capability across the facility, leading both daily execution and long-term strategy. This includes advancing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, driving capital investment initiatives, and building a high-performing team that supports production at scale.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment where success is measured by uptime, throughput, cost reduction, and team performance.

What You'll OwnReliability and process capability strategy and execution across all production and facility equipmentMaintenance performance, including uptime, downtime reduction, and response effectivenessCapital projects, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement effortsDevelopment of maintenance systems, processes, and team capabilityAlignment with operations to meet daily production and long-term business goalsKey Challenges & ImpactImprove equipment uptime and reduce unplanned downtime in a complex manufacturing environmentStrengthen and scale preventative and predictive maintenance programsDrive measurable improvements in KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and overall equipment effectivenessLead capital and automation projects that increase throughput and reduce costBuild and develop a strong maintenance and engineering team focused on accountability and performanceKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability and minimize downtimeLead all maintenance and repair activities for production equipment and facility systemsDrive root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions for equipment failuresEstablish and monitor KPIs (downtime, MTBF, MTTR, etc.) and use data to drive decision-makingLead capital projects including equipment upgrades, automation, and facility improvementsEvaluate and implement new technologies to improve productivity, efficiency, and qualityPartner closely with operations to optimize equipment performance and production throughputEnsure all work is executed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standardsLead safety initiatives, audits, and risk mitigation efforts within the departmentManage vendor and contractor relationships, including scope, cost, and performanceDevelop and manage maintenance and capital budgetsDrive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the siteLead, coach, and develop maintenance and engineering leadership and teamsBuild a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellenceWhat We're Looking ForProven experience leading maintenance and/or engineering in a complex manufacturing environmentTrack record of improving equipment reliability and capability, uptime, and operational performanceExperience leading teams, developing talent, and driving accountabilityStrong experience with preventative/predictive maintenance systems and capability programsExperience leading capital projects and working with automation or process improvementsAbility to partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadershipQualificationsPreferred ExperienceExperience in high-volume or highly automated production settingsExposure to Lean, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologiesEducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field is required.
