Job Description

Position Summary Description Air Production & Service, Inc. (APS) is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead the execution of engineered compressed air and Customer infrastructure projects across industrial environments•primarily Mechanical related Industrial projects This role serves as the primary interface between APS, customers, engineering firms, vendors, and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations. The Engineering Project Manager will oversee both MAPS packaged system builds and YAS field construction projects , coordinating engineering development, procurement, shop fabrication, installation planning, and customer communication throughout the project lifecycle. This position is highly cross-functional and requires strong technical aptitude, project execution discipline, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in fast-paced operational environments. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Customer Interface Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution Coordinate with key customers, engineering firms, and subcontractors Lead project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and status communications Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution Coordinate RFIs, submittals, drawing reviews, and approval processes Engineering & Technical Coordination Work directly with APS Engineering and outside design firms to coordinate project requirements Manage engineering deliverables, including: FEED•Front End Engineering Design processes Drawings Submittals Equipment layouts Technical documentation Commissioning requirements Ensure constructability alignment between engineering intent and field/shop execution Assist in value engineering opportunities and scope optimization Scheduling & Operational Planning Work closely with APS leadership to align project schedules with company capacity Coordinate Engineering, Shop, Install, and Service resources across active projects Maintain project schedules, milestone tracking, and forecasted completion dates Identify bottlenecks and proactively adjust schedules as needed Financial & Procurement Oversight Coordinate material procurement and vendor tracking Assist with budget management and project cost awareness Review purchase requirements and timing to align with APS operational priorities Support progress invoicing and milestone billing documentation Quality, Safety & Closeout Ensure project execution aligns with APS quality standards and customer expectations Support project safety planning and operational coordination Coordinate startup, commissioning, and customer training Deliver project closeout documentation, including: As-built drawings Warranty documentation FAT documentation Startup reports O&M manuals Qualifications Required 5+ years of Project Management, Engineering Coordination, Construction Management, or Industrial Operations experience Experience managing technical or construction-related projects Strong organizational and scheduling skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication and customer relationship skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and project tracking software Preferred Experience in: Compressed Air Systems Mechanical Systems Industrial Construction Manufacturing/fabrication environments Familiarity with AutoCAD, engineering drawings, and submittals Experience coordinating vendors and subcontractors Understanding of project scheduling and procurement planning
