The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering leadership, project management, and cross-functional team coordination to ensure successful execution of complex technical initiatives. ### Responsibilities Lead and manage the engineering team within the task force to deliver high-quality technical solutions. Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals and project requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of engineering tasks. Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of engineering projects. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans. Report regularly to senior management on engineering status, challenges, and achievements. ### Qualifications Proven experience as a Task Force Chief Engineer or in a similar senior engineering leadership role. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and team leadership. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus. ### Location This position is based in Raleigh, NC .
