In this role, you will lead and develop a quality team while designing and maintaining quality management systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring products and processes meet established standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule:
1st Shift | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM We are specifically looking for candidates with previous or current team leadership experience, so it is important that this is clearly listed on your resume.
Responsibilities:
Develop & Implement Quality Systems:
Design, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS), processes, and procedures
Manage Quality Teams:
Supervise and guide quality control personnel, providing direction, coaching, performance management, and professional development
Drive Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction by identifying and implementing process enhancements
Monitor & Control Quality:
Oversee production processes, inspect products or services, and perform statistical analysis to identify trends and potential problems
Ensure Compliance:
Ensure products and processes meet established quality standards and relevant industry regulations
Report & Communicate:
Prepare reports on quality performance, findings, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing engineering roles Of the required 4+ years of experience, at least 2 years must include proven experience in a management or supervisory role, including direct oversight of a team of 5 or more employees. Strong understanding of QMS and regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis Experience with ISO standards and internal/external audit processes Demonstrated experience in needs management, including gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing stakeholder and customer requirements Translate business and customer needs into clear quality requirements, specifications, and actionable plans Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of quality objectives with organizational goals Drive accountability, foster collaboration, and ensure effective execution of quality and process improvement initiatives Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply statistical analysis Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline ASQ CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and quality modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics Knowledge of advanced quality methodologies such as DOE, MSA, or reliability testing Proven track record leading cross-functional quality improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
