Job Description Summary The Engineering Productivity Leader will be the responsible and accountable leader for Engineering budget planning related to maximizing productivity. It will include elements of the business planning cycle focused on current year pacing to meet budget, as well as planning the next year. They will also lead Engineering cost productivity initiatives while managing the total pipeline. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Partnering with Nuclear Engineering organization and value stream partners to help guide critical decision making for meeting financial commitments while maximizing productivity for engineering budget Provide accountable ownership of Engineering budget, including productivity strategy development strategy, target setting, and daily management routines of productivity associated KPI's Provide active feedback to Engineering operations & finance and course adjust headcount and functional cost productivity to meet organizational goals Partner to establish dashboards & visual management to proactively enable the ability to spot productivity trends, stop work and bring the right stakeholders together to discuss anomalies & potential problems Translate and communicate Nuclear business objectives into Engineering productivity actions and challenges Lead Engineering productivity and budget meetings and provide clear, concise communications with the extended business partners Partner with finance to find opportunities for cost reductions, work cross-functionally (IT, Sourcing, etc) to activate plans & realize savings Establish and drive consistency of Engineering productivity data sources for one source of truth for Nuclear organization Effectively partner with the other Engineering leaders for current year pacing and op planning for the following year Challenge status quo in terms of the current operating model / current processes always in search of a better more productive way, eliminate process waste and minimizing touch-times / hand-offs, always with a Lean mindset Facilitate impactful kaizen to realize major productivity savings Summarizing, elevating, and creating content / delivering narratives to key business leaders Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in technical or business-related discipline from an accredited university or college 3+ years of related experience in the industrial sector. Desired Characteristics Prior experience in regulated industries, such as Nuclear Prior experience in Power, Energy industries Understanding of Engineering functional cost categories, processes and allocation of time Proven experience leading cross functional teams toward a common goal using credibility, influence and trust as key elements to say-do Proven to be effective driving outcomes in large matrixed organizations - understands how to navigate geographies, cultures, relationships Proven ability to work efficiently without direct supervision Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to communicate requirements & facilitate best practice-sharing in a motivating, engaging way Ability to juggle multiple priorities and the logistics associated with them Comfortable with conflict but leads as a collaborator, facilitator and strong partner Critical, systems thinker with the ability to bring others along, even those with conflicting priorities. Data-driven but decisive in decisioning despite ambiguity Proven experience with prompt engineering Self-driven learner with proven data literacy Adapts to new technology and proficient in collaboration tools This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Relocation Assistance Provided:
Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
