$6,105/ month Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate highway construction projects, including contractor communication, scheduling, and field operations. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, estimates, change orders, and final records. Perform construction inspection and materials testing to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and state/federal standards. Make field decisions and design adjustments to maintain project progress and efficiency. Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to secure permits and meet project requirements. Support office and contract administration functions, including recordkeeping, compliance activities, and use of project systems. Inspect contractor's work on highway construction projects. Provide CAD design for Preventative Maintenance projects. Assist with material testing and surveying activities. Promote and maintain safe working conditions for staff, contractors, and the public. Minimum Qualifications An associate degree in engineering or a related field and four years of related highway/transportation construction and engineering experience, OR six years of related highway/transportation construction and engineering experience. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field may substitute for the required work experience on a year for year basis. Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process, verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment, and job function screening.
