Responsibilities:
Lead prototype and production sealing projects for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), transmission, electric/hybrid, fuel cell, and other clean‑energy applications. Drive APQP and customer-specific processes while ensuring full compliance with
ISO/IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO
45001, and related standards. Manage RFQs, monitor project cost/timing/performance, and communicate project status throughout the full product lifecycle. Support Operations by resolving product and process issues to ensure smooth launches and stable production. Develop project plans, prepare capital appropriation requests, and manage capital spending within budget. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, Sales, and Applications Engineering to support new business opportunities and successful project execution. Represent FNST through customer/vendor visits and maintain strong technical and professional relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field and 5+ years of engineering project management experience; or 8+ years of relevant engineering/project experience without a degree. Hands-on knowledge of rubber or plastic injection molding processes (preferred). Prior experience in rubber product design with significant customer and vendor interaction (preferred). Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and other common business applications. Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, communicate effectively across functions, and deliver results in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
