Location:
Manhattan, NY (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote) We are seeking a Telecommunications Professional with 2-3+ years of experience supporting fiber network deployments and Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering activities. This role will support the end-to-end engineering process for in-building fiber delivery, including site surveys, engineering work orders, project tracking, vendor coordination, and field operations support.
Key Responsibilities:
Review service orders and engineering records for fiber circuit delivery. Coordinate and conduct site surveys with customers and building personnel. Manage project milestones, deliverables, and vendor activities. Create and support engineering work orders and construction documentation. Review fiber facility records, conduit records, and network inventory. Support field operations during construction and implementation. Maintain engineering databases and project tracking systems.
Required Qualifications:
2-3+ years of telecommunications, fiber engineering, or OSP engineering experience. Understanding of fiber networks, FTTX, and circuit delivery processes. Strong project management and vendor management skills. Experience with engineering work orders, site surveys, and technical documentation. Knowledge of engineering systems such as VBuild, BDMS/MMS, OSP-VWS, or similar telecom engineering platforms. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
