We are seeking a talented and motivated Chief Engineer to join our team and drive our engineering efforts to the next level.Pay:
$40,000- 50,000

The Chief Engineer will oversee engineering and maintenance operations across multiple properties, ensuring safety, functionality, and efficiency. This role includes office and field engineering support for various projects, ensuring compliance with all codes and criteria.Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Guide engineering and maintenance teams across properties.Maintenance:
Manage the preventive maintenance program.Budgeting:
Assist in creating and managing the engineering budget.Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Vendor Management:
Coordinate contracts with external vendors.Team Development:
Mentor engineering staff and foster continuous improvement.Emergency Response:
Provide on-call support for emergencies.Reporting:
Maintain records related to maintenance, repairs, and expenditures.Project Management:
Oversee public works projects, ensuring compliance with time and budget parameters.Public Interaction:
Respond to inquiries about engineering procedures and provide recommendations.Permit Review:
Review utility and street use permits.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in engineering and maintenance management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Budget management experience preferred. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Valid driver's license and ability to work on construction sites.Work Environment:
Occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, and fumes. Noise levels range from quiet to moderate.Physical Demands:
Office and occasional outdoor work. Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required.Tools and Equipment Used:
